Bill Amirault

Bill Amirault is the founder of Rescue Beats, a life-safety equipment and services company dedicated to helping businesses, communities, and organizations stay compliant, prepared, and ready to respond in emergencies. His mission is personal: in January 2017, Bill suffered a sudden cardiac arrest near the finish line of the Key West Half Marathon. For nearly ten minutes, three bystanders with medical backgrounds performed CPR on his behalf until paramedics arrived and shocked his heart back into rhythm with an AED. He is among the fortunate few — less than 7% of sudden cardiac arrest victims outside a hospital make a full recovery. That second chance became a calling. Bill and his wife Becky became certified CPR instructors, opened a training center, and set an audacious goal: to educate one million people on CPR and AED awareness. Today, Rescue Beats provides AED programs, CPR and first aid training, bleeding control kits, fire code compliance services, and fully managed AED programs for properties across the country. Bill is a recognized subject matter expert on life-safety equipment, AED program implementation, and municipal fire code compliance.
